2023 Interior Graphics Thought Starters

It’s a whole new year, and already, we are working with organizations to upgrade their interiors. We had so many different installations in January alone that we decided to put together this blog which will showcase some of the most modern applications to date.

Our architectural vinyl line of products is one that doesn’t get highlighted enough. These types of vinyl are created to mimic the appearance of high-end surfaces at a fraction of the price!

Architectural Surfaces

In the examples below, we wrapped the wall panels with a faux wood finish that elevates the space and gives the rooms a look of distinction and connection. This wrap was done for the new Simmons Bank location inside the Crescent Center.

These wooden types of vinyl come in various colors, styles, and grain types and can even be installed horizontally or vertically to give the space a different look and feel. Below is a horizontal example we just installed for our friends at One GI.

Architectural vinyl can be applied to any non-porous, flat surface; Think walls, desks, and even elevators!

Board Prints & Dimensional Logos

Board prints allow organizations to highlight branding elements and photography.

In the example below for New-Tech Packaging, we have combined a routed and painted board that uses their brand icon and mixed in canvas wrap prints of local photography. A simple and clean dimensional logo has been added on the opposite wall to brand the conference room effectively. This layering effect adds to the dimensionality and the gravitas of the installation.

Another terrific way to treat board prints is to direct print to the board and then route that print out into a custom shape. We did this for Landers Ford by creating board prints of their most current car models.

SEG

The SEG print (silicone edge graphic) is an increasingly popular option for interiors. SEGs are dye-sublimated (fabric) prints whose silicone edge fits snugly into lightweight aluminum frames. These graphics are interchangeable and are highly cost-effective to update. As newer model cars are added, they can quickly and inexpensively change the imagery. Landers Ford, for instance, just had lots of these added to their showroom.

Wall Coverings

Wall coverings are the most effective way to add imagery and branding elements to an interior space. The possibilities with the types of vinyl are truly endless, which is why it is what we consider our bread and butter. Some examples of these graphics are as follows:

Concrete Graphics

Concrete graphics, which are heat applied directly to porous surfaces, are one of our vinyl applications that lasts the longest (especially indoors)! These graphics can be used against a wall in a gymnasium or even on the floor in a locker room (see examples below). Since these are heat applied, the adhesive is activated even more-so, creating a more aggressive, semi-permanent bond to the surface they are applied.

Wall Vinyl

Wall vinyl or wall murals are an excellent way to inject full-color imagery or design elements into your space. Consider the option we installed for Pavo this past month below; The photography is so bright and vibrant that words aren’t even necessary to convey more emotion than what these murals capture. Murals are an extremely flexible medium for any business vertical or application.

We hope this rundown of interior graphics will give you a better idea of what is possible, inspire you to bring changes to your work environment, and empower you to tell the world who you are as an organization.
