Top 9 Projects of 2021

It’s hard to believe it, but 2021 is soon coming to a close, and as such, we’d like to share some of our favorite projects that pushed us, inspired us, and moved us to think outside of the box! Sit back, relax, and enjoy our Top 9 projects of 2021!

9) CBRE Garage Wayfinding

Not only did this project receive national acclaim, but we felt it also was one of the best uses of concrete graphics we’ve ever had the pleasure of producing and installing.

8) Stryker Medical Rebrand

Stryker Medical purchased Wright Medical in 2020 and underwent the rebranding process at the Wright facilities. In some instances, we operated solely as the installer for these locations and, in others, we handled production and installation.

7) Memphis Tourism Window Mural

This expansive window mural was designed by our friends at Pretty Useful Co to help increase brand awareness for I Love Memphis Blog and Memphis Tourism. The full design spans the side and front entrance of the newly renovated Renasant Convention Center.

6) Terminix Corporate Headquarters Building Signage

Based on the sheer size and difficulty alone we had to include this massive signage installation for Terminix in their downtown Memphis location!

5) Architectural Surfaces Rebrand

Rebranding 21 locations nationally is no easy feat to manage, that’s why this rebranding effort for Architectural Surfaces made our list! This project, which we highlighted in detail in a previous blog, is shared below and details how we managed every facet of the production, design, and installation process.

4) St. Mary’s Episcopal School

St. Mary’s is celebrating their 175th anniversary in 2022, and in preparation for this magnificent occasion, it started and finished the process of implementing history walls into their spaces. We discovered ways to incorporate school artifacts such as dresses and physical documents into their displays and developed name boards that would help honor students and alumni for years to come.

3) Memphis Tigers Athletics

It’s no secret we are big supporters of our hometown team the Memphis Tigers! This year, we were given the opportunity to renovate and revitalize their athletics facility. Because of this opportunity, we had the creative freedom to develop some of our coolest signage and graphic applications to date! Here are just a few of our favorites:

2) Wolf River Greenway Trailhead Monuments

These monuments were not only structurally challenging to construct but the end result was absolutely fantastic! The completion of this project marked the full connection of the Green Line from downtown Memphis to its suburbs.

1) Exhibit artwork for the Walt Disney Archives at the Graceland Exhibition Center

We love our partners at Graceland and Elvis Presley Enterprises so much so that, when they challenged us to produce descriptive board prints, collection tags, and several custom art pieces for the collection all in a matter of two weeks before it went on display, we said, “You’re on!”. This exhibit is still being featured at the Graceland Exhibition Center and is a must-see for children and children-at-heart!

All in all, we are extremely happy, honored, and humbled by the trust our clients have put in us this year in our ongoing mission to help them “Expand your Brand”. We look forward to the new opportunities 2022 holds and to the future successes that are in store for us all.
